I don’t write much poetry, and most of what I do write isn’t worth preserving. This page is dedicated to the few exceptions. If you think whats preserved here isn’t too hot, just imagine the stuff that didn’t make the cut, much of which is along the lines of:

So, hi ho, hi ho, its off to cheat I go,
I’ll take a peek and sneak a cheat
Hi ho hi ho…

Distractys

In poetry, a tetractys is similar to a haiku, but the pattern of syllables is different. There are five lines in a tetractys, of one, two, three, four, and ten syllables respectively. This was my first attempt at one.
