Hidden Agendas
My first year of writing for NaNoWriMo I decided to tackle a piece of Science-Fiction Erotica that had been percolating in the back of my mind for two years by then. I called it “Hidden Agendas” and wrote the first 50,000 words in November of 2005.
Being Erotica and not (to my mind) terribly well written, I may never post the text online. Then again, if I ever get it edited into shape, I just might. In the meantime here’s the back-cover blurb of the novel as it now stands (an estimated ¼ finished):
Carl Linders only thought he was down on his luck. Half-crippled by a car crash that killed his fiancée and left him with recurring epileptic seizures, he didn’t know when he had things good. He soon found out when he was abducted by aliens bent on world conquest. If not for the intervention of an insane artificial intelligence which destroyed the alien’s moon base with Carl inside, the world would already have been conquered. Now, brought back from the dead, he must ally himself with his killer and find a way to use the alien technology in the wrecked base to mount some sort of defense before the alien’s reinforcements arrive in six months and finish what they started. And while he works feverishly to save his planet he little realizes a far more insidious enemy has already started its conquest.
